A Good Mechanic
This little story begins with me sliding off the road and into a field the other night. Fortunately I wasn't hurt and my car is just ok. I say ok because although there wasn't any real damage to the body, I bent my rims pretty badly so my car is wobbly. Knowing this needs to be fixed quickly, I did some research and found a mechanic in Phoenixville.
I own a Saab and if you know anyone else that does or has, you know those of us that drive them are particular and finding a really good mechanic is key to a long lasting relationship with your car. Saab's are finicky and a good mechanic to one is a lot like a mad scientist. You don't know how it got fixed, but it did -- Well.
So, back to Phoenixville. I went to Carter's Saab servie at 23 and 29 and Tom, the guy that owns it is great. I'll admit, I know nothing about cars. Remember George Costanza in Seinfeld, "You need a new johnson rod ... oh a new johnson rod, suuurree." George and I have the same auto vocabulary.
Tom took the time to walk me through what was wrong (there were some little things other than the rims) and explain to me what was going on. I really appreciated it. Could I repeat it. No. But after the shady mechanic in Philly, I had a good morning.

You better be careful that mechanic doesn't get too attached to your car -- he might steal it along with JFK's golf clubs.
Thanks for this publish. I find it hard to track down good answers out there when it comes to this subject matter. Thanks for the review!
